Vvery often a supervisor for all sorts of good reasons may not be available when u need him or her most. Supervisors are academics and these days academics are flat out being “active” researchers themselves. Unfortunately, this unavailability on the part of supervisors may come at a critical time. many of u will have experienced the diificulty of getting that final step of your thesis completed. Very often your supervisor with the best will in the world can’t be of much help.
